Midland Structures

Midland Structures Ltd is a well-established Structural Steelwork Contractor based in the West Midlands. We offer a coordinated design, manufacture, and installation solution for all types of steel structures.

Through investment and innovation, we have developed a supply chain capable of accommodating our customer’s requirements with projects ranging from 1 tonne up to 1000 tonnes. With the latest software and machinery, we are able to process in excess of 150 tonnes of steelwork per week.

Our 70,000 sq. ft. factory is equipped with a robotic welding and assembly system, two cut and drill lines, submerged arc welding, in house shot blasting, plasma cutting, robotic coping, off site assembly and a dedicated intumescent paint facility. Our Cutting-Edge facility reliably gives customers steelwork delivered on time and within budget allowing us to focus on building relationships within the industry.

Building partnerships in steel

We know a company is only as good as its people. Our team has a wealth of experience across the industry giving us the technical ability to deliver a wide variety of structures; from portal frame buildings to complex refurbishment works, façade retention schemes, office blocks, infrastructure projects and metalwork packages.

As well as the traditional supply and build service we also have the capability
to offer design and build projects in-house, offering full control to our clients. Midland Structures consistently delivers a high level of service and quality to meet our customer’s needs.

We are UKCA approved by SCCS to EN 1090-1: 2009 + A1: 2011 Execution Class 2, proving our customers with peace of mind that our structural steelwork is manufactured to the highest standard in line with the latest quality control regulations. We also use the STRUMIS Management System to control our entire manufacturing processes, which connects, streamlines and simplifies our projects and resources, reducing errors and increasing efficiency in the process.

This coordinated, flexible approach provides real benefit to our clients, and in order to further assist the construction of the whole building envelope.

Projects

We are able to offer other associated works such as; hollow rib floor decking, staircases, balustrades, handrails, ladders, walkways, barriers, fencing, bollards, Metsec trusses, installation of pre-cast planks, concrete staircases and the installation of Glulam Beams etc. It is important in today’s market environment to be able to offer a wide range of services where interfaces are considered and coordinated with one another. This enables our clients to be secure in the knowledge that each work element placed with ourselves will work seamlessly together.

This approach has enabled Midland Structures to retain and develop our relationships with our customers and we pride ourselves on the level of repeat business we acquire, and our aim is to always build long-standing partnerships.
